Jumper, skirt, hat and collar - Topshop / Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell
Another head to toe Topshop outfit but hey you can't go wrong with a Topshop outfit..they never seem to disappoint when it comes to keeping up with the trends and this neon cropped jumper is definitely no exception. Teamed with my leather skater skirt and surprise surprise my bowler hat the look was complete. I love the neon trend at the minute...with one neon staple piece it can completely change an otherwise simple outfit. The perfect jumper to team with the monochrome trend..because if any of you have been stalking all the amazing LFW street style photos its pretty clear that monochrome with any form of neon is going to be huge this spring/summer.
I hope you're all have a good week, thank god its Thursday is all I can say...bring on the much needed weekend!x
Top, Jeans & Hat - Topshop / Denim shirt, Bag, Necklace and Shoes - Primark
I am seriously living in hats at the minute, I'm not even sure why myself but every outfit I put on seems to end up with this hat or a beanie on to finish the look. I've definitely become a hat girl, I lust over so many at the minute but can't seem to justify spending my pennies on hats. Although the weather round uni wasn't very friendly for this bowler today, I spent my day walking to and from lectures holding on to it for dear life. So this cute printed crop top is from Topshop, another buy from when I ventured to Meadowhall for the weekend. I absolutely love it and although I'm wearing it now I'm already planning how to style it for a more Summery ensemble. This Primark denim shirt has featured in an outfit post before and I expressed my love for it there, I chucked it over this outfit to give it a more casual feel fit for a day at uni. I always feel I should dress down around uni, any of my more outrageous outfits and I end up with people starring at me everywhere I go..I don't think Lincolns quite cut out for it.
I want to say thank you to all you lovelies for filling in my questionnaire for my dissertation, I had over 200 responses and I definitely wouldn't of got half that many without all of your help. On the topic of uni work at the minute its just reached an all time high, hand ins are looming and there is so much to do..I honestly feel like theres not enough hours in the day at the minute...but don't worry I shall be posting just as regularly, blogging really is my favourite form of procrastination.

Jacket - Primark / Top - Topshop / Leggings - American Apparel / Beanie - Ragged Priest via Topshop / Trainers - Adidas via Schuh
I feel like a school kid in pigtails, I thought I could pull them off with a beanie over the top so they don't like quite as cutesie, but looking at these photos I just think I look ridiculously young...lesson learnt with that hair style. Apart from the hair I really like this casual outfit. I've been living in this top since I bought it a few weeks back, perfect to chuck on for a casual day but the studs on it make it that little bit more edgy. Teamed with my denim jacket and beanie it was a casual uni appropriate outfit.
This outfit gave me the perfect opportunity to show off my trainers, I've had these beauties for a while but they haven't really been worn and I've decided to embrace them again. They remind me slightly of minnie mouse with the red and white and the big bows. I'm completely in love with the casual cuteness they bring to this outfit.
I hope all you lovelies are well and have had a fab weekend, I'm off to tidy my room and do lots of uni work, not an ideal Sunday! When this evening comes I can't wait to catch up on lots of your blogs x
I was ever so excited when the lovely people of caseapp contacted me and asked if I would be interested in my own custom phone case...I'm such a sucker for things like this anything girlie, cute and sentimental and it's going to be a winner. This is definitely going to be attached to my phone for a while now. You can design your own case for an iPhone 4/4s and 5 and they cost a reasonable £24.
For the price you pay the quality of the case is excellent, strong and sturdy, so you have no worries about it protecting your phone. I thought long and hard about what I wanted on my phone case and being the cheesy romantic I am I decided to go with a collage of pictures of me and the boyf. I made the collage myself and then uploaded it to the caseapp website, which allows you to play around with the sizing of the image to ensure it all fits and looks perfect.
Within a matter of days my phone case turned up on my doorstep, super speedy delivery. I was more than impressed the matte texture of the case gives it a classy look and the quality of the images have come out flawlessly. I've already had tons of compliments on my personalised case and I'm already planning on making more for friends birthday gifts, the option to add text to your design makes it that extra bit personal. You can pick whatever image you want to go on your case and thats my favourite part about it...no one will have the same case as you.
I had the day off uni today, which makes a change for once. After a morning filled with uni work I had a lovely afternoon meeting two fellow bloggers who go to my uniSadeand Lora, both gorgeous girls with lovely blogs so I definitely suggest you check them both out. It was the first time I'd met these girls and it felt like I'd known them forever already, we sat chatting away in a gorgeous little coffee shop. Meeting other bloggers has made me want to meet even more of you, a huuuuuge blogger meet up is definitely in order!
On to the outfit..my amazing Mum treated me to these gorgeous trousers on our shopping trip to Meadow Hall. I instantly fell in love with them, probably due to the fact I'm obsessed with monochrome..Topshop you have done well with these beauties. Perfect for the monochrome trend. The trousers are in a smarter style and material so not only do they look perfect for a casual day look but are easy to smarten up for a different occasion. I teamed them with this simple neon orange cami to brighten up the look. I honestly can't wait for my summer holiday now and this excitement is purely down to the brightness of my top...the perfect top for summer evenings.
Window shopping online is my favourite form of procrastination, the more work I seem to have to do the more time I spend drooling over clothes all over the internet. I've picked out my current favourite items from my favourite high street shops. The crop top from Topshop and the trousers from River Island are definite favourites, both perfect for Spring/Summer, fingers crossed the warm weather hurries up so I can finally wear things like that. Unfortunately I am stupidly skint at the minute and saving for my holiday has to come first, so looks like I was have to keep lusting for now, and I'm pretty sure my list of wants will just grow.
A typically casual uni day outfit to share with you today. Comfort and ease has to come first when I'm heading around uni...it gives me that extra ten minutes in bed, which is valuable sleep time. This jumper is one of my new purchases from the weekend. I'd been looking for a tie dye jumper for a while now but couldn't find any colours or styles that really caught me eye. Urban Outfitters had an amazing selection of one off jumpers all in different colours and patterns. The gorgeous purples sold it for me, as I knew it would slip in nicely to my wardrobe, and the lighter colour makes it a cute jumper for the Spring as well.
I've also finally got round to making my blog a Facebook page, so I'd love it you'd check it out and give it a like. It's an easy way to keep up with new posts and any extra stuff I've been up to or outfits I've worn that didn't quite make it to my blog.
I best dash to uni before I'm late, hope all you lovelies are having a good as can be Monday x
Jumper, Shoes & Hat - Topshop / Sleeveless Jacket - Primark / Disco Pants - American Apparel / Watch - Marc Jacobs
After my hectic week, I have had the best weekend in a long time. My Mum and Dad came to visit me at uni and we had an amazing weekend of gorgeous food, some cheeky drinks and a lot of shopping...what more could a girl want. The shopping part means I should have lots of outfit posts over the next week or so to share with you lovelies.
This jumper is one of my new purchases, I fell in love with it instantly. After seeing lots of street style photos from LFW this weekend and seeing how big monochrome and neon were, this jumper seemed like the perfect buy. The orange detailing adds a pop of colour that really works with the monochrome trend. I kept the rest of the outfit black to make sure nothing clashed with the orange as I felt the jumper was enough of a statement piece on its own. I was determined not to wear a coat or a jacket over this beauty as it's too pretty to hide away, so I opted for my new bargain sleeveless jacket from Primark. I'd been after one for a while but couldn't quite justify the the £50+ price tag from the likes of Topshop and River Island, so this Primark alternative was perfect.
I'd also like to express my love for my new Topshop lipstick in begulied I have on in these pictures. I'd been on the hunt for a dark, deep red for a while now and begulied met the criteria perfectly. It is a dark red with a hint of purple coming through giving you the perfect berry red. If any of you have any other recommendations for Topshop lipsticks to try please let me know.
Jumper & Jeans - Topshop / Shirt - ASOS / Shoes - Primark / Bag - Lulu Guinness
I majorly apologise for the lack of posts this week, and I'm apologising in advance as it will probably continue over the weekend. I've had a pretty hectic week. I have to go to court tomorrow as a witness...just to clarify I'm not some crazy criminal. This has triggered my anxiety and it has been worse than ever..I've had a panic attack near on everyday, usually I'm quite good at controlling them but this week has just been horrible. So I've been trying to do as little as possible to keep myself calm. On a positive my Mum and Dad are visiting at the weekend, which I'm so excited about as I haven't seen them in over a week...massive yay thinking about that, I think it's the only thing getting me through the week right now.
On to the outfit, I've had this jumper for a while now and I can't believe it hasn't appeared on my little blog yet. The fluffyness of it is just perfect, and the colour brings out my girlie side which has been hiding away recently. I teamed it with my ASOS shirt to smarten the outfit up, and mainly because I love a cute collar peeping over jumpers at the minute. My Primark boots I mentioned in my last post have been firmly attached to my feet at the moment, I've well and truly got my £5 worth.
Before I end this post I want to ask you girls a massive favour. As you all probably know I've been majorly stressed with my dissertation work at the minute and I've finally sorted my questionnaires out. I would love you all forever if you could take a few minutes to fill in my questionnaire which is all about consumer behaviour in relation to fashion brands, so I thought you lovelies would be the perfect people to ask. Here's the link, it honestly shouldn't take more than five minutes https://www.esurveycreator.com/s/115bd89.
I hope you've all had a better week than me, and I promise normal posting will resume next week :) x
Scarf, Jumper, Jeans, Hat & Jacket - Topshop / Shoes & Necklace - Primark / Bag -c/o La Moda
A really really casual outfit today, recently I've been feeling more comfy dressing down, I think it's this cold weather it makes me just want to live in my slouchy jumpers. Also it's a bit of a Topshop overload outfit today, but sometimes you can't go wrong with trusty Topshop and I'm not really one to worry about how highstreet my outfit may look. I'm loving the dark almost 'dull' coloured look of this outfit, I think blacks and grey tend to look pretty sophisticated, wow I'm referring to myself as sophisticated for the first time ever. Of course a hint of colour was needed to the outfit so I added my beautiful Topshop scarf, unsurprisingly this wasn't enough for me so I went for my new bargain patterned leopard print boots from Primark..I couldn't believe it when I saw they'd been reduced to £5. I know I keep saying it but I honestly have found a new love for Primark and I'm sure my bank balance wants this love to continue.
In all honestly I can't wait for the sun to make an appearance, I miss the days when I could wear cute tops and not have to hide them with a warm coat or big jumper. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for that now.
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, I'm going to have a chilled day catching up on as many blogs as possible, so if you have any posts you want me to check out, let me know x
I keep seeing these posts flying around the blogging world and as I'm pretty nosey I love reading them..so I thought I'd join in the hype and do one myself in the hope that you all enjoy reading them as much as I do.

Top and Shirt - Topshop / Leggings - American Apparel / Hat - H&M / Shoes - Nike Blazers / Necklace - Primark
A very casual uni outfit to share with you today. I've been on the hunt for a baseball style top for a while now and browsed some amazing ones on ASOS Marketplace but couldn't justify the extra pennies they cost...and then like fate I spotted this Topshop one for what I feel was a reasonable £20. I'm really like the casual sportswear trend at the minute, I think it's such an easy trend to pull off and is perfect for my casual days at uni. I decided to pair it with my sleeveless denim shirt and my nike blazers to add the extra sport feel to the outfit. This necklace seems to have become attached to my neck at the minute, I'm loving big chunky jewellery, and this cheap alternative does the job perfectly.
Thank you for all your kind words in my recent post about my allergies. I've finally established whats causing everything, it's a histamine deficiency that causes unexplained allergy style rashes and I'm finally on medication so hopefully I'll be on the mend in no time.
Jeffrey Campbell / Zara / Topshop / Office / River Island
Recently I've been lusting after endless pairs of shoes, until now I'd never really been a 'shoe girl' but it's like something clicked and now everyday I seem to find a new pair I convince myself I need, so I thought I'd share with you a few of my favourites. The problem I have is that I own a lot of shoes but tend to stick to about 2 or 3 pairs and wear them until there is nothing left...so my theory is that adding a new pair into the equation may make them last longer...but this is probably just be trying to justify the need for a new pair. It's always alright to buy shoes right?!?
My favourites have to be the Zara monochrome heels, I'm usually one to go for a big chunky heel or wedge but these elegant heels have completely one me over, the pennies need to be saved for these as I can already picture how stunning they would look with a staple little black dress. Zara really do have some amazing shoes in at the minute, I've even found myself lusting over a pair of Zara kitten heels too...I never thought I'd see the day I wanted a pair of kitten heels. I also completely love the River Island sandal flatforms, I go on the River Island website daily just to admire these beauties... you all know my love for studs by now I think that's the reason I can't seem to help myself. I literally can't decide which colour I prefer so if anyone wants to be as kind enough to buy me them in both colours I would love you forever...until then I will keep dreaming.
Skirt - ASOS / Top - Topshop / Necklace - Miss Selfridge / Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell
I bought this skirt right after Christmas in the January sale, it was one of those jump with joy excited purchases..I couldn't believe what a bargain it was. Navy blue velvet = heaven to me, and then the slit down the side well it just makes it the perfect skirt. I was originally planning on wearing this skirt as a casual outfit but at 5ft2 this skirt unfortunately just doesn't work for me without heels...so it sat in my wardrobe for a while until I had an occasion to wear it. Teamed simply with my Topshop crop and my beautiful bargain sale necklace from Miss Selfridge it was perfect to wear for civilised cocktails with the girls.
I'm in a bit of a bad way today, I woke up and have fainted twice, nothing to do with alcohol for once. I've been having numerous hospital appointments for these crazy allergic reactions I've been getting far too regularly at the minute so I'm thinking it could be to do with that...but a day in bed is needed all the same, I just seem to be drained of all energy.
Hope you're all feeling better than me and have had a fab weekend x
Jayde's blog is the perfect mix of fashion and beauty. Her reviews are always so interesting and there have been a few products I've actually bought after seeing them on her blog. As for her style, I am completely in love with all her outfits...she looks amazing in everything. So if you haven't already checked out her blog then I think you all should!
Charlotte'g blog is such an inspiration to me, her fashion sense is amazing and her outfit posts never disappoint. I literally would kill to have her wardrobe. On top of her amazing outfits her blog just looks so professional. If you're looking for some outfit inspo then head over to Charlottes blog.
Lastly for today is Jess's blog. Now I can't even express my love for this little space on the internet enough, her outfit posts are always gorgeous and her reviews are spot on, not too mention how beautiful she looks in every photo. Best of all she's just a genuine girl, so check out her blog and say hi :)
Shirt, and Necklace - Primark / Shorts - Miss Selfridge / Hat - Ragged Priest via Topshop / Jacket - Topshop / Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell
In my last post I raved about my recent Primark finds and this letter shirt is another one of my purchases from there. I am completely in love with this shirt, the capped short sleeves make a perfect transition from winter to spring. I've been daring today and instead or wearing a little cami underneath I've gone with a black bra..I sometimes think showing a little bit of bra can make an outfit, nothing too 'slutty' though..but with a leather jacket over the top I think I can just about get away with it. I'm also pretty impressed with my cross necklace from Primark, I ventured into Topshop and was very close to buying a near on identical necklace for over £10, so was overly impressed when I saw this one for around £2.
This is just an outfit I'm wearing to uni today, so nothing to crazy...comfort and quickness usually comes first when I'm rushing to get ready. I'm so glad it's nearly the weekend...I need some me time. I've had the craziest week with tons of uni work, hospital appointments and poorly flatmates. So a chilled weekend is definitely on the cards.
